Industry loses Ed Kovens of A&A Global Industries

Ed Kovens, the second generation leader of Cockeysville, Maryland based A&A Global Industries Inc., recently passed away, his family announced in a press release.

Kovens joined his father, Irv, in the business in June of 1953. Over his tenure as president of the company, he grew a modest Baltimore business into the country's largest bulk vending supplier making machines, capsules and other products.

The business expanded into injection molding and powder coating which continues to serve the mid-Atlantic region.

In addition to his sons, Steven and Brian, Kovens leaves behind his wife of 60 years, Rochelle, seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
