Industry coalition urges Congress to pass Payment Choice Act

The Consumer Choice Payment Coalition has urged members of the U.S. House of Representatives to pass the Payment Choice Act, HR 2534, also known as the Federal Reserve Racial and Economic Equity Act, which is scheduled for a vote on Wednesday. The bill requires the Federal Reserve Board to support the elimination of racial and ethnic disparities in employment, income, wealth and access to affordable credit.

The coalition includes the National ATM Council, the International Currency Association, Financial Service Centers of America, Diebold Nixdorf Inc., Crane Currency, Genmega, Imonex, Hyosung America, Triton and more.
