India’s Café Coffee Day faces bankruptcy

Coffee Day Enterprises Ltd., which operates a café chain as well as a coffee vending business in India, is facing bankruptcy as its lenders consider sending the company to the National Company Law Tribunal for debt resolution after the company said it defaulted on its loans in the quarter ending in March, according to a Business Standard report.

A bid by Tata Consumer Products to acquire the company's vending business failed to materialize in February.
