Indian government teams with vending operator to promote International Year of Millets

A government agriculture cooperative is teaming with a vending service provider in India to promote millets, nutritional cereals, in government buildings, according to an ahmedabadmirror.com report.

The National Agricultural Cooperative for Marketing Federation has teamed with Wendor to support the United Nations' International Year of Millets initiative to battle climate change.

Millets, being not very water-intensive and able to flourish in harsh conditions, are being promoted to battle climate change.

Wendor has set installed more than 25 such machines in government locations.
