India vending operation plans 6x sales gain

Roastea, an India beverage vending machine and café operator, plans to install more than 1,200 vending machines and 30 cafés in the next 12 months, according to a worldcoffeeportal.com report.

The Ahmedabad-based company anticipates a six-fold increase in revenues across 20 cities in eight states.

The company currently has about 500 vending machines in 17 cities and 10 cafés in Bangalore, Ahmedabad and Mangalore.
