India vending firm Daalchini Technologies secures $4M for expansion

Daalchini Technologies, a New Delhi-based startup that provides home cooked food to businesses through contactless vending machines, has so far raised $4 million for its countrywide expansion, according to a Yahoo News report.

The startup provides a range of food and beverage options from more than 160 brands through its machines, including Mars, Nestle, Dabur, Yogapulp, Sleepy Owl, Yoga Bar and Slurrp Farm.

The company has also worked with Vodafone, Samsung and organizations such as the country's public policy think tank, NITI Aayog, to deploy its machines.

Daalchini operates more than 850 machines across 11 states and 23 cities and plans to expand to more than 5,000 machines in 50 cities in the next 12 to 18 months.
