India vending company teams with home chefs, to expand to 2,000 machines

Daalchini, a New Delhi, India based company that provides vending service to businesses, plans to grow from 400 to 600 vending machines across nine cities including Delhi/NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Goa, Chandigarh and Mohali, according to a fnbnews.com report.

The company provides machines called Caalchini Huts where customers can place orders using the company app. The company employs women entrepreneurs who cook the food through its "chef-at-home" initiative.

The company assists its food preparers with supplies, licenses and compliance. It also offers franchisee opportunities to vending entrepreneurs.
