The government of Assam, a state in India, plans to develop a vending machine to prepare and dispense panipuri, a common Indian snack, according to a report in The Sentinel.

Ramen Deka, vice chairman of Assam's State Innovation and Transformation Aayog, said the machine will be designed to provide fresh and crispy panipuri in a prompt and hygienic manner.

Panipuri consists of a round hollow puri, a deep-fried crisp flatbread, filled with flavored water, tamarind chutney, chili powder, chaat masala, potato mash, onion and chickpeas, according to Wikipedia.
