SUN VALLEY, CA - New from Impulse Industries is the "kid-friendly height" crane, designed with playfield and controls closer to the ground to give young patrons a wide comfortable view of the play area.

"The lower controls are ideal for young children to experience a crane like never before," the company explained.

Introduced to meet the growing demand for equipment suitable for young children's play centers, the crane can accommodate a backlit upper marquee that supports customizable graphics while extending the "visual height" to match Impulse's larger cranes. It also benefits from the company's "five box" laser-cut and engraved acrylic display boxes that allow operators to place five different toys in the same playfield.

"The crane has been extensively tested at a $2 winner every time, with incredible success," Impulse reported.

According to the manufacturer, the kid-friendly-height crane augments the category of mini cranes, but without the added maintenance burden imposed by five  separate claw mechanisms, five separate PC boards and the other complexities of discrete machines.  The new crane holds five "mini products" such as key chains, flashing water balls and slow-rising squishies, all in a single compact unit.

According to the manufacturer, "The crane has been extensively tested at a $2 Winner Every Time with incredible success." It measures 30" W. x 24" D. x 67" H.; equipped with the optional marquee, the height is increased to the standard 78"
