Imperial Vending breaks ground on $7.4M facility in Fort Smith, Arkansas

Imperial Vending, a Fort Smith, Arkansas-based convenience services provider serving the Fort Smith region, has begun building a $7.4 million, 50,000-square-foot facility that will nearly double its office and warehouse space, according to a talkbusiness.net report.

Amy Metcalf, operations manager, said the building will replace the existing location in Fort Smith.

The company, launched by Paul Tims in 1979, hopes to have the building completed and open later this summer,

The company has more than 850 employees in Arkansas, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas with more than $150 million in annual sales.
