International Game Technology has secured a 10-year contract with Luxembourg's national lottery, Loterie Nationale, according to a press release.
IGT will deploy its OMNIA solution, including a cloud-based iLottery system, upgraded central gaming system, new point-of-sale terminals and peripherals.
The contract, awarded through a public procurement process, is expected to run until 2036.
"IGT has partnered with Loterie Nationale for over 20 years, supporting their growth," Léon Losch, Loterie Nationale director, said in the release. "Upgrading our systems with IGT's technology will allow for continued sales growth, enhanced player experiences, and support of good causes."
"We've helped Loterie Nationale expand its retail footprint, add self-service terminals, and launch iLottery," Jay Gendron, IGT chief operating officer global lottery, said in the release. "Our OMNIA solution will provide them with access to top-performing games, improved analytics, and advanced responsible gaming tools."
IGT's OMNIA solution is designed to modernize the lottery experience for both retailers and players. It includes a suite of applications, tools and reporting functionalities. The agreement also includes updated point-of-sale terminals and self-service lottery vending machines.
