FREMONT, CA -- Identiv Inc., a manufacturer of smart card readers, has entered into a distribution partnership with Universal Smart Cards, which specializes in the implementation of smart chip cards and technology.

Missouri, TX-based Universal Smart Cards will make Fremont, CA-based Identiv's solutions available to more organizations in the U.S. and overseas. It joins Identiv's 400-plus distribution partners and customers in more than 50 countries worldwide.

Identiv's contact, contactless and mobile smart card readers are available in varied form factors. Its end-to-end solutions can be used for cashless vending, physical and logical access control, converged access solutions for building and computer access, transit payment, brand protection, time and attendance recording and Internet of Things applications.
