LOS ANGELES -- Healthy vending promoter HUMAN said it has entered into an agreement with Randolph-Sheppard Vendors of America (RSVA) to provide government and private sector facilities with healthy vending programs.
As part of the deal, Randolph-Sheppard blind vendors gain access to HUMAN's proprietary training, marketing, equipment and product distribution systems, which will help them to transition toward vending machine menus perceived as "healthy."
HUMAN founder and chief executive Sean Kelly said that, by adopting his company's programs, visually impaired small businesses can offer government employees healthy food options not available from traditional vend product suppliers.
RSVA is an advocacy group representing Randolph-Sheppard's licensed blind managers and is the largest affiliate of the American Council of the Blind.
The official HUMAN-RSVA introduction and orientation will take place at the Sagebrush conference on Feb. 10 in Las Vegas.
Los Angeles-based HUMAN, which stands for Helping Unite Mankind And Nutrition, says it has more than 2,000 locations in the U.S.
