Hostess recalls single-serve SnoBall items for undeclared allergen

Hostess Brands, LLC is voluntarily recalling single-serve Hostess Chocolate CupCakes as the packaging does not list "coconut," an ingredient in SnoBalls, as an allergen, according to an FDA notice.

The SnoBalls were manufactured on March 13, 2021 under the UPC 888109010096, batch I03132100, with a best buy date of May 27, 2021.

The products were sold to distributors, convenience stores and dollar stores in the U.S. No injuries or illnesses have been reported to date. Consumers who bought the product are encouraged to contact the place of purchase and receive a full refund.
