Hostess offers limited edition cryptocurrency themed snack

Cryptocurrency fans with a sweet tooth can buy a golden sponge cake with creamy filling called "Hostess $TWINKcoin" through Aug. 8 on the Popwild website.

The snack is a limited edition coin shaped snack available in 10-packs for $3.49 a box, according to the website.

Hostess Brands has not announced the limited edition on its website, but a company representative told Decrypt via email that it saw an opportunity to release a "new take on fan-favorite Twinkies."
