Hostess Brands to invest $120M - $140M in new bakery, add 150 jobs

Hostess Brands Inc. will convert an idled factory in Arkadelphia, Arkansas into a state-of-the-art bakery, according to a press release. The bakery is expected to be operational in the second half of 2023 and bring approximately 150 new jobs to the community over the next three years.

The company plans to invest $120 million to $140 million to transform the 330,000-square-foot facility to increase the company's capacity across its bakeries on its Donettes and cake platforms by approximately 20%.
