Hostess Brands names VP/investor relations

Hostess Brands Inc., maker of Twinkies, CupCakes, Ding Dongs, Donettes, Voortman wafers and other treats, has named Amit Sharma vice president, investor relations. He will report to Brian Purcell, EVP and chief financial officer, according to a press release.

Sharma joins Hostess from Rabobank, where he served as executive director of food and foodservice since April 2020. Previously, he was a director in sell-side research at BMO Capital Markets covering food and beverage companies.
