TOKYO -- Hooters Japan has joined forces with Namco Entertainment to launch a new arcade and restaurant facility. Hooters Gaming Bar Side-B is slated to open its doors on Dec. 18 in Tokyo's busy Shibuya shopping and nightlife district.
Described as a New York City-themed "interactive sports bar," the entertainment center and eatery will price 30 minutes of gameplay and food per person at 1,500 yen (about $12), and another 500 yen for each additional 30 minutes.
The new venue will include a wide range of games and attractions, including Bandai Namco's Star Wars Battle Pod, along with the ever-popular Hooters' waitresses.
Namco Entertainment is a unit of Tokyo-based Bandai Namco Group. It manages more than 1,000 amusement facilities around the world.
