The late Victor H. Lavay has joined the select ranks of pioneers profiled by the Twin Galaxies Video Game Trading Cards, produced by industry historian Walter Day of Ottumwa, IA. The two cards were unveiled at January's Arcade Expo, held at the Museum of Pinball (Banning, CA). Lavay, cofounder and longtime publisher of Vending Times, is being remembered for his early recognition of the potential of videogames, when the first ones from Nutting Associates and Atari were introduced at the Music Operators Association annual trade shows in the early 1970s.
