Hershey to close Dots Pretzels North Dakota plant

The Hershey Co. will close its Velva, North Dakota facility that produces Dot's Pretzels, affecting 27 employees, according to an inforum.com report.

The decision was based on the facility limitations and costs, according to a company spokesperson.

The relocation options would be in Lawrence, Kansas or Robinson, Illinois.
