Hershey taps Amazon’s Deepak Bhatia as its first CTO

The Hershey Co. has named Deepak Bhatia as its first chief technology officer and newest member of its executive committee, according to a press release.

Bhatia will lead the company's global technology strategy, architecting and deploying digital capabilities.

Bhatia joins Hershey from Amazon, where he was the vice president of supply chain optimization technologies.
