Hemp-Based Energy Drink Maker Leverages AVT Vending Machines

SANTA MONICA, CA -- Wander Port Corp., a distributor of food and beverage products made with hemp, said it has entered into a distribution agreement with AVT Inc. that will bring its Canna Energy drink to vending machines nationwide.

Available in several flavors, the hemp-based beverages are said to provide pure, natural energy and contain no artificial flavors, colors, sweeteners or preservatives.

Corona, CA-based AVT will reportedly offer Canna Energy through its national vending account system. Wander Port said the products will soon be available at various California locations of a health club chain, which the companies did not name, and that plans call for gradually expanding distribution to other territories.

The Canna Energy vending machine was part of AVT's exhibit at the National Automatic Merchandising Association's OneShow last week in Las Vegas.

AVT also showcased its redesigned Marley Coffee vending machine, which it said was recently awarded a contract by the United States Marine Corps. Additionally, the manufacturer showed off the Gen2 UShop, featuring selections for the woman on the go, and the Opticwash automated eyewear and jewelry cleansing and disinfecting system.
