Helix Leisure Expands Sales And Marketing Teams

DALLAS -- The out-of-home entertainment company Helix Leisure has named Tomás Cortijo director of business development and channel marketing. Additionally, the company has appointed Jim Kipper sales executive of its Embed subsidiary. Both appointments will support Helix Leisure's growth by identifying areas of expansion and new business opportunities, the company said.

Cortijo has a rich background in consumer entertainment. He has worked for Razer, a computer gaming peripherals manufacturer, and Blizzard Entertainment, the creator of Warcraft. He and his family spent the past two years driving and e-biking through North and South America in an attempt to break a Guinness world record, and to promote sustainable transportation.

Kipper has been involved in FEC operations and gameroom development for past decade. He mostly recently worked for Pinnacle Entertainment Advisors, a unit of Redemption Plus (Lenexa, KS), where he was responsible for FEC startups and remodeling projects.
