Hatco introduces pizza locker machine

Hatco Corp., a Milwaukee based foodservice equipment manufacturer, has introduced its Flav-R 2-Go Pizza Locker System, which holds multiple hot pizza orders, according to a press release.

Each locker has a timer to hold pizzas for up to 45 minutes and is preset at 149 degrees Fahrenheit (65 degrees Celsius), with a high temperature range up to 180 degrees Fahrenheit (82 degrees Celsius). The heat can be turned off for ambient food holding, as well.

Customers can arrive, access their specific locker and leave without waiting in line.

The locker system features a touchscreen on both the operator and customer sides.

The operator inputs the customer's name and code for their order; the customer receives the code, enters it and the appropriate door unlocks and rises to access the pizza boxes. An optional QR code reader is also available.

The Flav-R 2-Go is available as a built-in, countertop or floor mount model.

The F2GP and F2GBP models come standard with manual operation; POS integration capabilities are available with outside vendor setup.
