Haribo breaks ground on first U.S. facility

Haribo, a gummy snack maker, recently broke ground on its first North American manufacturing facility in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, according to a press release. The U.S. factory is intended to ensure products are delivered to U.S. customers with more speed and efficiency.

The facility marks the largest capital investment in the company's history. The first phase of construction is scheduled to be completed in late 2022. The facility will initially produce the company's Goldbears.
