A vending machine called "the healthy choices kiosk" installed at the H.O.P.E. recovery center in Hardin, Montana, is proving to be successful, according to a KTVQ report.

Goldstein Little Eagle, of Hardin, stocks the machine and named it the healthy choices kiosk because it carries everyday items such as socks, toothbrushes, hygiene kits as well as lifesaving tools like fentanyl test strips and Narcan. It debuted in a pilot program mode a year ago.

"Getting the naloxone out there to the community that needs it," Little Eagle told the news outlet. "And more importantly those that don't know about it and need to know about it," said Little Eagle, who serves as the Narcan coordination for Montana.

Little Eagle said he hopes the kiosk pilot will lead to more machines throughout the state.
