Hain Celestial Group reports 1% quarterly net sales gain

The Hain Celestial Group, Inc., a provider of organic and natural products company with operations in North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East, reported net sales increased 1% to $553.3 million or 2% on a constant currency basis compared to the prior year period for the third quarter ended March 31, 2020, according to a press release. 

Gross margin was 23.9%, a 324 basis point increase from the prior year period, while operating income was $19.1 million compared to $19.0 million in the prior year period.

Earnings per diluted share was $0.24 compared to $0.08 in the prior year period.
