Grupo Bimbo to build $200M Georgia production plant, create 295 jobs

Grupo Bimbo, a Mexico City-based global baking company, will invest over $200 million to build a second production facility in Valdosta, Georgia, creating 295 jobs in Lowndes County, according to a press release.

The facility will be located at the Westside Business Park, a "Georgia Ready for Accelerated Development" certified site.

Grupo Bimbo has 203 plants and more than 1,700 sales centers in 33 countries throughout the Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa.
