Grippo’s acquires fellow Ohio snack food maker Ballreich

Grippo's, a Cincinnati-based potato chip maker, has acquired Ballreich Snack Food Co., based in Tiffin, Ohio, according to a wltwt.com report. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Both local snack food brands are more than 100 years old.

Teri Baker, president of Grippo's, said both brands will be maintained.
