OAKLAND, CA -- Grasshopper Kiosks said it will introduce its new kiosk software suite for its pot vending machines July 25-27 at the National Cannabis Industry Association Business Summit and Expo in San Jose, CA.
Cannabis dispensaries use Grasshopper products to manage costs, compliance, data, and wait-times.
The new software package includes upgrades to both front and back ends, improving performance for dispensary owners and user experience for their customers. It powers the Grasshopper 3600 pot vending machine.
The new Grasshopper platform integrates with dispensaries' own point-of-sale software, instantly updates inventory and customer preferences, and is compliant with current state regulations including customer verification, maximum limits, and reporting required data. Its new merchant management dashboard and new user tools increase functionality and efficiency.
The new software was created by Grasshopper's tech team, giving the company the flexibility to work closely with dispensaries to customize the sales experience and update all machines from a single hub. The customizable features make the platform ideal for many industries outside of cannabis as well, according to the company.
The centerpiece of the Grasshopper 3600 user experience is a large 32" touchscreen LCD monitor. From its full-color product photos with detailed descriptions, customers intuitively navigate and select the items they want, paying with cash or credit. Grasshopper transactions average less than one minute.
