göt2b activates vending machine to combat frizz

göt2b, a hair color and styling brand from Henkel, recently launched a series of interactive pop-ups in New York City to promote its new göt2b Curled collection, according to a press release. A key feature of the activations was an innovative vending machine designed to dispense products in response to weather conditions.

The "Emergency Box," located in Domino Park, was a custom-built vending machine connected to a live weather app. It was programmed to activate and provide free, full-size göt2b Curled products to consumers when the humidity rose. The goal was to help visitors combat frizz on the spot.

Following the event, attendees could enter a "Frizz-Free Photo Zone" to take and share pictures. The Experiential Group, the fabrication partner for the event, commented on the technology. "It's a smart, sassy solution that turns unpredictable weather into an unforgettable brand moment," a representative told the news outlet.
