Google Maps 93 Allows Sharing Of Route Navigation

MENLO PARK, CA -- The app that has become a necessity for many route drivers just got a lot more convenient. Google Maps 9.3 includes a host of new features while maintaining the same basic design and familiar functionality.

Among the new features that might prove most valuable to vending route personnel is the ability to share directions with other people. Version 9.3 allows users to "drop a pin" at the starting point and another one at the destination to create a simple navigation visual.

The update also allows users to add transit directions to their calendars to assist in scheduling.
