BAY CITY, MI - Gold Standard Games/Shelti has moved into new facilities at 3020 North Water Street here. The new headquarters, located a few miles from the company's previous site at 333 Morton St., represents a major step forward for the company with an upgrade to layout, efficiency and daily manufacturing capacity.

The previous facility, which had a rich history in pool table manufacturing dating back to 1947, served the company well for many years. According to vice-president of sales Paul Jacobs, the plant had begun to show its age. Thus, when the opportunity arose to move to a fresh new location, the decision was easy.

The new site provides comparable space in its initial configuration, with substantial additional space available as needed. With the sale of coin-op products – especially air hockey – on the rise and the continual increase in home product sales, the move became necessary.

Jacobs, who works out of his office in Jupiter, FL, recently visited the facility and gives it an enthusiastic thumbs-up. "My time with the company over the past five years has shown me that Gold Standard Games/Shelti has an experienced workforce of dedicated individuals whose mission is to continue to provide its customers with the highest-quality products backed by instantaneous service," he said. "This new facility will ensure that this work ethic will continue for years to come."
