GSG said it decided to partner with Sacoa because its debit card system is easy to install and maintain for operators, and its interface is simple for customers. |
So Gold Standard Games, a manufacturer of air hockey and billiards tables, has teamed up with Sacoa to offer operators the option of purchasing its new games with preinstalled Sacoa Playcard systems. GSG will install readers on the coin doors of its equipment, including its electronic pool tables.
Sacoa director Sebastian Mochkovsky explained that hockey and pool tables can create their own environments or be part of family entertainment centers. "We are very pleased to [collaborate] with such a prestigious company as Gold Standard Games to offer this simple solution to operators," he said.
The company's all-in-one EZ System enables a wireless and ticketless (redemption) gameroom. Locations using the solution require Sacoa's kiosk, which it describes as a self-contained and self-installed cashless payment system. The kiosk, where customers purchase new cards and audit existing ones, is the system's central component. Sacoa says EZ System is ideal for smaller locations.
"We feel that Sacoa is the perfect match for our goal of offering our air hockey and pool tables 'ready to go out of the box' for integration into FECs, or smaller unattended gamerooms using the system," said GSG vice-president of sales Paul Jacobs.
