Charitable giving vending machines will return to Denver's Cherry Creek North shopping district Nov. 19, offering residents and visitors an interactive way to support nonprofit organizations during the holiday season, according to a Glendale Cherry Creek Chronicle report.

The Giving Machines will be installed at the entrance to the Cherry Creek Holiday Market at Second Avenue and Fillmore Plaza, where they will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Since their introduction in 2017, the charitable vending machines, sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, have expanded to more than 100 cities worldwide. In 2025, the machines raised more than $70 million, according to the church.

Unlike conventional vending machines, the Giving Machines allow customers to purchase items for people in need rather than receive merchandise themselves. Donors select a product or service displayed on the machine, complete a payment and direct their contribution to a participating charity. Available selections may include meals, blankets, livestock and other necessities, with donations benefiting local and international organizations.

The machines are part of Cherry Creek North's seasonal attractions and are designed to make charitable giving accessible to holiday shoppers and families. Their placement near the holiday market allows visitors to contribute while attending seasonal activities, and their around-the-clock availability provides flexibility beyond regular shopping hours.
