ATLANTA -- Gimme has released its teaser for its augmented-reality micromarket tool for the vending and foodservice industry.

"We are ready for micromarkets and can't wait to show the industry what is possible when you unite the right technology with the right industry at the right time. It's truly a trifecta," said Gimme co-founder and chief executive Cory Hewett. "You'll never look at micromarkets the same way once you see what Gimme brings to the table."

Atlanta-based Gimme's solution integrates with vending management systems to track cash and inventory in machines in the field in real-time. Its plug-and-play hardware and iPad-based Gimme Drive app replace wired handheld computers.

The technology now also provides visibility into micromarkets, including purchasing patterns, providing operators with better cash accountability, inventory tracking and store data.
