Gimme receives notice of allowance for patent for mobile reporting devices

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has issued a notice of allowance to Gimme, a provider of technology that helps foodservice and grocery store delivery operators automate merchandising, for its patent application directed to the use of mobile reporting devices in a DSD environment, according to a press release.

The patent, serial number 16/852734, covers the use of the Gimme Key Pro, the company's wireless data exchange adapter, in direct store delivery applications.

Gimme Key Pro supports Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0 compliant for smart applications and works with devices running iOS, Windows or Android.
