Gilly Vending Honored As Minority Business Supplier

MIAMI -- Gilly Vending Inc. was named Minority Business Enterprise Supplier of the Year. The Southern Florida Minority Supplier Development Council announced the award during its 40th anniversary gala held in Miami on Sept. 25.

The awards gala recognizes the achievements of south Florida's top minority-owned businesses that are committed to supplier diversity.

"Our nationwide machines represent the clients we service, and we take each and every one of them seriously," said Gilda Rosenberg. "It is an honor to be recognized along with the other nominees for doing what all Gilly Vending employees enjoy doing every single day -- provide excellent service.

Gilly Vending will exhibit at the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) upcoming convention in San Diego.

The vending company, founded by Rosenberg three decades ago, serves more than 30 states, with machines numbering "well into five figures," according to the company's website.

Last April, Gilly Vending was the winner of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce 2015 Top Small Business Award.

In November, the company will be presenting sponsor of ZooRun Miami 5K Race benefiting West Kendall Baptist Hospital and the Zoological Society of Florida.
