General Mills to restructure; chief marketing officer to exit

General Mills Inc. announced a restructuring to better align its organization with strategic initiatives, according to a Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal report.

The company did not say if job cuts would be involved.

The company also reported that Ivan Pollard, global chief marketing officer, will leave the company. A company spokesperson said there was no plan to fill Pollard's role.
