Gary Walker has announced his retirement from The Education and Entertainment Group's New Zealand business, according to a press release.

Walker, along with Stuart Jones, founded Coin Cascade Ltd. in 1978 from opening Time Out family entertainment centers around Christchurch and then Auckland, Wellington, Palmerston North, Dunedin.

Coin Cascade partnered with LAI Group in 1997, when all stand-alone venues converted to Timezone, which operates over 300 family entertainment centers across the Asia Pacific region.

The purchasing of Xtreme Botany was another milestone as the first of the company's bowling-led entertainment centers.

More recently, the Coin Cascade ownership model changed and the business was rebranded as TEEG NZ Limited.

A new leadership team has been put in place with TEEG New Zealand overseen by Belinda Falzon, who heads up the company's Kingpin brand as chief operations officer.
