Ozan Dokmecioglu has resigned as CEO of Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. and will be replaced by Bob Gamgort, the company's executive chairman and former CEO, according to a press release.
Dokmecioglu agreed to resign due to violations of the company's code of conduct that the company says were unrelated to strategy, operations or financial reporting.
"Every employee, without exception, is accountable for knowing and following the code," Paul Michaels, lead director of the KDP board, said in the press release. As of this report, the company has not specified which part of the code was violated.
Gamgort will also continue to serve as executive chairman.
