Fresh Healthy Vending Inks New 3-Year Deal With United Natural Foods

SAN DIEGO, CA -- The healthy vending company said it has renewed its contract with United Natural Foods Inc., which will give its operator franchisees access to discounts on food purchases. Fresh Healthy Vending International Inc.'s new three-year deal is expected to "solidify its ability" to offer the largest selection of "healthy" snacks and beverages, said FHV chief executive Art Budman.

UNFI is a national distributor of natural, organic and specialty foods, and related products. It distributes more than 80,000 products to over 40,000 customer locations in the United States and Canada. FHV was the supplier's first national vending account.

"FHV now represents our largest independently owned and operated national vending customer, and we are pleased to continue our partnership with North America's leading healthy vending franchise," said UNFI director of foodservice sales David Chavez.
