SAN DIEGO, CA -- Franchisor Fresh Healthy Vending International Inc. has named JoAnna Abrams as the first member of its newly created advisory board. With more than 20 years in the food, hospitality and consumer products industries Abrams, a Harvard MBA, will lend her knowledge and experience to the company's management team.
Abrams has led strategy, research, new product development, and supply chain sustainability efforts for consumer brands including Marriott, MGM, Toyota and Wolfgang Puck. FHVI chairman and founder Nick Yates said that Abrams will help his company increase its service footprint among America's big corporations.
To date, FHVI claims it has more than 210 franchisees throughout the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and the Bahamas, with around 2,500 machines in operation.
