French pizza vending machine comes to the US

A French technology company that makes pizza vending machines has begun selling the machines in the U.S., according to a report in The Spoon. The company, API Tech, is an industrial automation company that has 223 pizza machines across Europe and has placed two in the U.S.

The machines can hold up to 96 baked pizzas, which can be ordered from a touchscreen or a mobile app and is cooked in a built-in oven and dispensed in a box. The menu can handle up to 200 recipes and the price can be determined by the operator. The pizza is served in less than three minutes

The machines cost $68,000.
