Free condoms available in Dallas vending machines

Prism Health North Texas is making sexual health resources more accessible with the installation of three "Nice Package" vending machines across Dallas-Fort Worth.
The machines offer free condoms at convenient locations, including a bar, a college campus and a retail community space, according to a report by The Dallas Voice.
"Condoms are a crucial tool for preventing STIs and HIV, but cost and access can be barriers," Januari Fox, director of policy, advocacy and community engagement for PHNTX, told the news outlet. "The Nice Package vending machines provide a safe and innovative solution to ensure everyone has what they need to protect themselves."
The machines' discreet design and "Nice Package" branding aim to reduce stigma around sexual health. Additionally, PHNTX will monitor usage data to optimize machine placement for maximum impact.
This initiative is part of PHNTX's broader strategy to combat rising STI and HIV rates in Texas. Free condoms and at-home HIV tests are also available for discreet online ordering and delivery across the state through the Nice Package program.
