Fred Schaeffer Becomes President Of Mother Parkers Tea Coffee

Schaeffer comes to Mother Parkers from McCain Foods Ltd., where he was regional president for Asia, Middle East and North Africa. Prior to joining McCain in 2005, Schaeffer had spent 22 years in progressively more senior roles with Kraft Foods, where his responsibilities spanned sales, category, brand, business development and strategy; he ultimately became president of Kraft Canada in 2002. During his service with Kraft, Schaeffer worked in the foodservice and retail channels in both the United States and Canada.

Michael Higgins and Paul Higgins Jr. will remain active in the company in their current posts. "Our intent is that Mother Parkers will continue to grow and succeed with the Higgins family at the helm as owners for many, many years," they commented.
