Foxconn Technology Group, a high tech company, will not be making the Briggo robotic coffee vending machines in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, as announced in 2019, according to an upnorthnewswicom report.

The agreement with former Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker became inactive after the Coca-Cola Co. acquired Briggo in May 2020, a Coca-Cola spokesperson told the Journal Sentinel.

Under Foxconn's original 2017 agreement with Wisconsin, Foxconn said it would build a $10 billion LCD making campus and create 13,000 jobs.

Foxconn instead built a much smaller facility that is being used for storage, according to an Oct. 19, 2020 investigation by The Verge.

Foxconn hired 281 employees by the end of 2019.

Bloomberg reported in November that Foxconn planned to build Google server components.
