Former Chicago Bear Dustin Lyman Is Now Famous Brands CEO

BROOMFIELD, CO -- Famous Brands International, parent company of TCBY Yogurt and Mrs. Fields Cookies, has promoted former Chicago Bear Dustin Lyman to chief executive. Lyman most recently served as Famous Brands' chief financial officer, and was instrumental in the company's foray into vending with its TCBY-branded machines.

Lyman joined Famous Brands in 2013 as director of finance, as part of the management team appointed by Z Capital Group, the private-equity firm that owns the company.

Prior to joining Famous Brands, Lyman held key financial positions at large organizations, including Vail Resorts and Dish Network. He played tight end for the Chicago Bears from 2000 to 2005.
