NORWOOD, MA -- Sam Cohen of Foley FoodService is the recipient of the 2015 Anthony J. Calderone Award, which presented at Lifeworks' Annual Gala on Friday, June 20. This annual award is presented to the Lifeworks participant who demonstrates outstanding employment achievement.
Cohen joined Foley FoodService in 2012 as a prekit assistant. "Sam is enthusiastic, committed and responsible," said Ken Foley, the owner of the vending company, who is Cohen's direct supervisor. "His interest in learning about the vending industry and eagerness to grow professionally has earned Sam the respect and admiration of his coworkers. We are proud to have him as a member of the team."
"Sam has demonstrated a commitment to his career and is eager to take on new tasks to further his growth in the field," said Mary Ellen Cameron, program director of Lifeworks Inc. (Norwood). "Lifeworks has supported Sam since 2000 and has enjoyed working with him. He is an inspiration to others."
Lifeworks Inc. award recipients are determined by a committee who review the nominations submitted. People are nominated in various categories based on significant career gains and improvements.
