Fuel station operator Tamoil Netherlands has partnered with floral retail company Daily Flowers to install automated flower kiosks at its T-Energy gas stations in the Netherlands, according to a Mobility Energy report.
The first units have been placed at locations in Moergestel and Rotterdam, where customers can purchase ready-made bouquets through cashless, self-service machines available seven days a week. The move adds Tamoil to a growing list of fuel retailers offering flower vending alongside traditional convenience items.
Daily Flowers has already deployed similar kiosks at a range of fuel brands, including Avia, Shell, Texaco and Esso, as well as at car wash sites. The company has installed approximately 35 flower vending units across the Netherlands over the past two years. The concept builds on a broader trend in the country of expanding vending beyond snacks and beverages to include more specialized and perishable goods.
The rollout is accelerating, with dozens of new locations recently added or planned in the near term. Several additional installations are scheduled at Shell and Fieten Oil sites, along with further expansion within the EG Group network.
